Ideas For Articles For Your Affiliate Marketing Website
January 13, 2009 by cynthia · Leave a Comment
Don’t think you need to have the skills of an excellent author to write articles, but rather learn to become a smart affiliate marketer and write articles that turn prospects into closed sales. Here you’ll find five types of articles your affiliate marketing website should have, if you want to increase your sales.
1. Product Reviews
Bear in mind that people are searching for information. They are not looking for a sales pitch – they want to know more about the product before they buy. You can provide this information on your affiliate marketing site by writing honest and sincere reviews of the products. Provide both cons and pros in your review and rather promote the product rather than sell it.
2. Product Benefits
If the features of your products are to your prospects liking they would want to know more about the products and more specifically the benefits. Let them know in detail more on how they will benefit from using the product. You are not the only one selling the product, and you are more likely to make sales if you can provide more benefits that your competitors.
3. Compare Products
You could provide product comparisons on your affiliate marketing website, if you are confident of your product’s ability to sell in the market. Don’t make the mistake of bashing the opposition products rather highlight the cons, features and benefits of the competition as well as your own products. Then compare the products in such a way that your product comes out on top.
Carefully select which benefits of the competitor’s product you are going to highlight. Rather opt to overlook a quality if your product can’t beat it.
4. The Power of Testimonials
When your prospects know that real people are using your products and they can vouch for the product benefits your chances of sales increase. You could contact previous customers and ask them for a testimonial and photograph and place this on your affiliate marketing website alongside the products. Ask your friends to try the products and add their testimonials too. If your prospects are convinced that your products are good enough for real people, your sales have nothing else to do but increase.
5. Fresh News Briefs
News Briefs are a great way to keep your affiliate marketing site fresh and up-to-date. Ideas for news briefs include recent promotions, or new developments concerning the product, or recent studies done on the product. Keep your news briefs concise and to the point.
If you happen to have a few news briefs about your product, don’t post them on your affiliate marketing website all at once rather spread them out over a period of time.
You can use these types of articles all at once, or in a combination. Select what best works for your affiliate marketing program, or product, and you can be on your way to claiming sales commissions that just keep on increasing.
Basic Guidelines on How to Write Articles
January 13, 2009 by cynthia · Leave a Comment
You have probably heard many times before how effective article marketing is in promoting an affiliate marketing business online, but just don’t know how to go about writing them. If that sounds like you then here are some tips on how to write articles.
Difference between Articles and Blog Posts
Writing articles is different from the daily posts you make on your blog. Yes, this also requires a lot of creativity on your part but it caters to a specific market, people who doesn’t have much time to spend reading the 500 plus words articles that you are presenting to them.
Your goal with article marketing is to get your reader’s attention, make it easy for them scan through your materials and spot the main points, get them hooked with what more you have to say then let them know what more can you offer to them.
Basic Guidelines
When it comes to writing articles you need not be too academic. You are not writing a research or term paper. You just want to reach out to potential clients to help them in avenues that they are interested in.
1. Offer good content
You certainly do not need to be too technical that people would have to consult a dictionary just to find out what you are writing about. Create functional articles that will be easy to understand and people will be able to relate with.
2. Write in a conversational tone
Article writing gives you the opportunity to talk to your target market through your articles. Ideally, you need to establish a connection with them and you can achieve this through the way that you present your articles. Make them feel like you are a friend that they can turn to if they are having problems in some aspects of their business.
3. Generate excitement
Remember, you are not writing to win awards so avoid boring articles. Try and keep the tone light and easy to understand. Catchy headings and tag lines throughout the article will keep your reader’s interested.
4. Keep your paragraphs short
This will especially be helpful for those who don’t really have the time and are just scanning for interesting finds. Short paragraphs are intended for easy reading.
5. Be sure to provide benefits
After writing your article, read it through and ask yourself “what will the reader get out of this article?” Are you providing good information that will really help them and spark their interest to the point that they want to find out more by clicking on your link the resource box? If you are keeping them interested and providing the knowledge they are looking for they will be keen to read your future articles on your other products and services.
6. It is important to use the word YOU
By using the word YOU throughout your article, the one who will be reading it will feel a sense like you are directing them because they are important. It will be easier to capture their interest this way.
I am sure you can write articles now! Consistently writing and submitting articles to the article directories will drive targeted traffic to your web site.
You need to make as many people aware about the products that you are offering and lead them to you. So be sure to keep them interested that they want to click on the link in your resource box at the end of each article to find out more about what your affiliate marketing business has to offer.

So you have just got started with affiliate marketing and now you need to start driving traffic to your site. There is always the option of paying for ads or you can opt to use article marketing, which is a free and highly effective way to attract targeted visitors to your site for years to come.
Here are 5 article marketing tips to help you get off to a good start:
Firstly, decide on a catchy title for your article that describes what your article is about. Just by reading the title people must want to know more. It is helpful to also add your keywords to the title so it is easily recognizable to those searching for a specific topic. Also include in the title the benefits of what reading your articles can do for them.
Secondly, structure your article so it is well organized and easy to read. Keep your paragraphs short and make use of bullet points and numbering to stress important points. Most people these days are short of time and impatient, so they tend to scan through information rather than read it word for word, so make it easy for them to see the important points at a glance.
Thirdly, be sure your articles are informative and to the point. Use simple, easy to understand words. Do not try to impress the reader with the great knowledge you have of a certain language by using words that most people do not know the meaning of. He is certain to move on to the next article if he does not understand what he is reading.
Do read through your article after writing it, make sure it makes sense and check for errors or ways you can improve it. Ask yourself – will this article provide the reader with the information he is looking for? If necessary, do some research and add more facts to your article.
Fourthly, spend some time and give thought to writing an informative article summary. When submitting articles to the article directories you are normally required to add a summary of your article. It only need be 3 – 5 sentences long, but this is your opportunity to convince searchers why they should spend some time reading your entire article.
Finally, the author’s resource box is not just for creating a back-link to your website. Your article should have been informative enough to bring them ultimately to your resource box, where they can either click to an order or sign-up page or a site to obtain even further information. Write in the third person and invite them to click on the links.
Article marketing is an easy and highly effective way to promote and attract targeted traffic to your affiliate marketing website. Just to recap – write a catchy title, make sure your article is easy to read and informative, write an enticing summary and invite readers to click on the links in your resource box.
The Key To Internet Marketing
January 13, 2009 by Ken Troyer · Leave a Comment
There are many reasons why people are successful with Internet Marketing. Obviously there are different tactics and techniques that work for people. However, there is one key that helps people achieve their first taste of real success. That key to Internet Marketing success is desperation.
There is a very large percentage of Internet Marketers who became successful because they had to achieve success. While all these people have different stories, one part of their stories is always the same: They had to succeed or they would face dire circumstances.
Some Internet Marketers were facing being unable to pay their bills. Some Internet Marketers were facing becoming homeless. And some Internet Marketers were even facing starvation.
So what is the lesson to learn here? Is the key to Internet Marketing success waiting for desperation to strike? Of course not. If you can create that desperation, at least in your mind, then you can use that as fuel to help you achieve success with Internet Marketing. However, the point of the desperation leading to Internet Marketing success is that the desperation causes people to focus their efforts and it forces people succeed.
So the key to Internet Marketing is to focus your efforts on achieving success and to also refuse to accept anything but success. Too often, if people don’t have to succeed then they don’t.
If people are comfortable with not succeeding at Internet Marketing then they won’t succeed. It’s just that simple. But if someone has to succeed, if that person has no choice then that person is much more likely to succeed. The person simply has no other choice. This means that you can’t be satisfied with anything but success.
If you don’t have desperation then you need to create it for yourself. You need to mentally force yourself to think you have no choice but to succeed. You need to be of the mind set that anything less than success is simply not acceptable.
The key to Internet Marketing is desperation. When someone is desperate and that person has to succeed or else face a horrible situation then success is much more likely to happen. Though Internet Marketers take many different paths to success, and use many different tips and techniques, the one common factor that many of them share is desperation.
Though you may not be desperate, certainly you can learn the importance of focusing all your attention and accepting nothing but success.
6 Forum Marketing Tips To Promote Your Niche Affiliate Business
January 13, 2009 by cynthia · Leave a Comment
A free and effective way that you can promote your niche affiliate business is through forum marketing.
Forum marketing is a great way to get your voice heard and to get your niche affiliate business noticed. Here are a few tips to guide you on your way to forum marketing.
1. Post in forums that you are actually interested in. The degree of your understanding and interest in a topic in a forum will shine through your post. If people see that you are interested in the forum topic, then you may get more attention than people just reading your forum post.
2. Join and post in a forum whose topics are related to your niche affiliate business. Making off-topic posts in a forum concentrated with users who have a single interest and aim can be distracting not to mention grounds for you being banned from a forum.
3. Ensure you use correct spelling when making forum posts. Text or SMS shortcuts can make posts almost unreadable and you can annoy a lot of people to the point that they may not even bother to try and read your posts. Make an effort to write well on the forums.
4. Apart from sharing your expertise and knowledge, extend help to other forum members when they need it.
5. Use your forum signature effectively – the shorter the signature the better. The human memory can only memorize as short as five words so keep in mind that you must never exceed that number of words. Include in your signature vital information regarding your niche affiliate business.
6. Your signature has to be catchy enticing readers to click through to your site. A concise signature can make a huge difference on the exposure of your niche marketing business.
Blogging and Niche Marketing

I want to talk about niche marketing and blogging to build your business.
One thing I have seen recently is an attempt by internet marketers to push the idea of starting a blog and quickly filling it up with plr content in a blog. The idea being that you could launch your blog with 10-15 articles and that should do it.
Then they say start another blog and repeat the process. Your goal is to get many blogs going and then add plr content on a consistent basis to keep it lively.
This is a bad idea if you are going into niche marketing and want to use your blog to do it with. For the most part plr content is a bad idea on a blog unless you alter it in several ways.
1. Change the primary keyword
2. Write a unique intro and closing paragraph
3. Add a YouTube video
4. Include a picture or graphic
5. Link to another site or blog.
At least when you do this you are attempting to make it original and the search engines will recognize this.
My point is if you start a niche marketing internet business and blogging is going to be your main form of marketing view it long term and plan on writing or hiring someone to write original content most of the time.
Internet Marketing – Making Money With You Tube
January 12, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
YouTube has always been a great place for Internet Marketers to market what they’re selling. With each passing day, YouTube gets more and more popular as more and more people flood to the site to watch videos. So Internet Marketers have always recognized the power of YouTube to help them make money. But now there is a new way to make money with YouTube.
One major mistake that Internet Marketers always make with YouTube is they think they have to post a great video on YouTube in order to get even a few views. This isn’t true.
In fact, any video on YouTube will get views. There will always be a lot of people who will watch any video. So, regardless how little an Internet Marketer knows about making videos, and regardless how good or bad the video might wind-up looking, every Internet Marketer should be posting videos.
The videos can actually be as simple as just showing the home page on a site and then reading an article while the home page is displayed in the video. The video can be as simple as someone sitting and looking into the camera while they read a blog entry about something. Both of these types of videos can be made in less than an hour and they will get watched.
Recently YouTube announced a new way to make money with YouTube. This new way will allow people to get their videos watched even more. This will be done through advertising. YouTube is going to allow people to buy advertising for keywords. This means that you (and anyone else) can pay money to make sure your video is listed when specific keywords are searched for on YouTube.
This idea to advertise gains even more importance because YouTube recently slid into the #2 spot for searches performed on the Web. YouTube passed Yahoo and now only trails Google. So there are many people performing searches on YouTube every single day. And now you can get your video in front of a lot of these people by paying to advertise for the popular keywords that are related to your video.
The new way to make money with YouTube is to use their new advertising program. This program will allow you to pay money to have your video listed when a certain keyword or a keyword phrase is searched for on YouTube. Since YouTube is now the #2 search provider on the Web this advertising program gives you even more power to draw traffic to your site.
4 Proven Steps To Niche Affiliate Marketing
January 12, 2009 by admin · Leave a Comment
Affiliate marketing is where you get paid to sell someone else’s product. Niche marketing is where you take a broad theme and narrow it down a little bit.
Today you can combine the two to make more money doing what I call the niche affiliate marketing. Here is how successful Internet marketers are doing that today.
1. Narrow a broad based theme down with a targeted affiliate marketing product. For example if you are in the article marketing niche, you could sell a product that teaches people how to create unique articles out of one targeted article.
Submit your article.com has an affiliate program and this is an example of narrowing down this broad niche to a specific affiliate product.
2. Write a review of the product and create a web page for the review. Your review should contain everything that you like and do not like about the specific product.
You are not trying to sell your visitor as opposed to just giving them an honest opinion about this product.
3. Give away something of value to build your list on your review page. Store the names and email addresses in an autoresponder for future follow-up.
You always want to be building a list no matter how you go about doing niche affiliate marketing.
4. Promote the review page before sending your visitor thru to your sales page. Rather than send traffic to your affiliate sales page send it to the review page first.
If you use these four steps you will eliminate some of your competition and make more money in the process.
5 Steps To Full Time Income With A Niche Business

5 Steps To Full Time With A Niche Business in 1 Year
Here are the five steps to achieving niche marketing success!
1. Find a market where money is already being spent! Even better is find a market where a lot of money is being spent everyday. These have been referred to as white hot markets because the customers spending money in them have such a strong feeling about why they are doing it.
2. Find a product that fills a need or solves a problem. For example, if you write a report and sell it on how to live with Fibromyalgia you will have a very targeted market of people who feel very strongly about learning how to do this. The same thing is true with golf. These people will spend a fortune if they think it will improve their game by 1 stroke per round.
3. Create a sales funnel that allows you come back to your list and to your customers over and over in the future. Why make $20 on one sale when you can earn hundreds, or even thousands of dollars per customer if you do it right.
So to do this you need a list and an autoresponder to store names and email addresses in. You also need a landing page to promote, and a sign up form on every web page you build and blog post you make.
Here is more on creating a sales funnel that works on all levels.
- Promote easy recall. You can get more people to transact with you if you can strengthen your online presence. This can happen by using a very aggressive marketing plan when promoting your products and your website online.
- Establish your expertise. As you might already know, people online will only transact with you if they are assured that you are very good on what you do. Show these people what you’ve got by sharing a slice of your expertise through ezine publishing, article marketing, and blogging.
- Bank on your website. Most people online will gauge your credibility and your ability to provide a great product based on the appearance and content of your website. So, have your website professionally designed and ensure that it contains relevant information that your readers will find useful in their lives. Use list building techniques.
Most of your online visitors will not make a purchase the first time they access your website. So as not to lose their business, you must learn how to obtain their email addresses or other contact information so can make product promotion a lot easier for you.
- Get online users to buy your products. Strive to qualify your target market on the first level of your funnel by convincing them to buy your low end products. To make this a lot easier for you, I suggest that you offer huge discounts and throw in amazing freebies.
- Make your customers feel valued. If you want to move your customers from one level of your funnel to the next, you must take good care of them. Offer them high quality products and be very responsive to their needs and demands.
- Do the process all over again. To ensure steady a stream of income do the step-by-step process again starting from the first step that I have given you.
4. Spend your time on what makes you money. The majority of that should be spent promoting your business. If you are doing this part time then your time is your most valuable asset at this point. You can not afford to waste it surfing the internet and not moving your business forward.
Get a daily to do list and do not quit at night until you have marked everything off of it. The list should be made of things that are getting your business out in the marketplace. Here are 5 ways to do that everyday.
- Start and manage a Google Adwords campaign
- Article Marketing
- Blogging and Social Bookmarking
- Forum Marketing
- Social Media such as video, audio, social networking
5. Become hyper active about your business. Become an internet marketing spy. Copy successful people and you can repeat their success. Get busy in a big way.
Write and submit 10 articles per day. Make 3-5 new blog posts. Social bookmark too twice as many directories as you feel like doing. Making money online comes down to traffic and converting that either into an email subscriber or customer in some way.
You have to think big in terms of getting traffic to your website and blog. Remember, even a poorly designed website will make sales if it gets enough visitors.
We are talking about building a niche business online and developing a full time income in 1 year from today and this takes hard work and consistent effort everyday!
