Very informative and educative article. Quite often we write article for their SEO value and forget that they will be read by human beings! An article may be SEO-friendly but appear as junk to a person researching for useful information.
     Thanks for sharing.

Article marketing is a great way to build links and increase traffic to your site and getting on to page one of Google is a must if you want to do this, but it is also important to remember that you are writing an article that people will be reading. Don't just concentrate on SEO make it people friendly as well. Thank for a great article.

Hello, Cynthia:

Thank you for this informative blog post. I agree that article marketing has become hugely popular. And as a result, the quality is not always what it could be. Writers should always strive to please the human reader.

Also, when I come across an article with no byline or signature, I question the credibility of the website. It's okay for a webmaster to acknowledge an outside author. We know not everybody has the time to write their own articles. But the author should always be identified, if for no other reasons than respect and credibility.

Wow!
this is some great information. This really makes me think about some of the articles I have written. I never try to send out junk when writing articles but more research could be improved before articles are sent out. Thanks for this post.

I totally agree. Clever website owners can actually use that to their competitive advantage - by ensuring that the articles on their site are top quality. Site owners that purchase large quantities of cheap "unique" articles ($1-2 an article) are not going to get quality articles. Quality writers simply won't write for $3 an hour. They don't have to.

What do you do when you come across a website with poor quality content? I click off - because I assume if their content is shoddy, their product won't be much better!
